Arizona cottonwoods

These cottonwoods are in Peeples, Arizona. There is a huge valley there with large cattle ranches and a horse ranch. These were across the road from another ranch.

This is one peak of the Sierras, near Bishop, CA. We traveled there this past week, the last week of December, 2010. We frequently drive up to northern California and on this trip, we stopped in Monterey. It was very windy that day and the WAVES were crashing against these rocks. In fact, I got WET from one WAVE! But, it was WORTH it to WITNESS them! We haven't been up to Monterey for a couple of years and I'm eager to travel up that way in the future again! ABC Wednesday for December 22, 2010.
