Hubby, me, and our daughter visited New Orleans about 4 years ago, before Katrina. It was during the Thanksgiving holiday and we all had 5 days off! We fell in love with the city. We especially enjoyed the French quarter. I mean, who wouldn't??? Just LOOK at those windows! Window Views and Doors, Too for March 2, 2010. The windows are so cute and I like the shade of pink...not garish like some pinks would be...(you linked up on the wrong date...I did the same...Hopefully the current list will be up soon to re-link on.)
Very nice windows, would love to visit NOLA someday.
Love the variety of plants cascading over the balcony railings! They give the windows so much character!
It looks strange to this northerner to see real flowers and Christmas decorations together, outside. Then I reread you post and saw that it was Thanksgiving - with xmas decorations for Thanksgiving?!
But, as for the great windows, I love that they are so big. It looks, however, as if the middle window is a makeshift doorway!
New Orleans is in my Top Ten places to visit before I croak! Nice shot! Greetings from Italy -- Louise.
NO is at the top of my list too!!
beautiful shot
